About Teri
Teri Dluznieski, a poet and a writer who dances the dream of tomorrow into existence.
Teri has studied with many teachers from both North and South American medicine teachings- mostly from the High Andean traditions of Peru. She also has many years experience training dogs and horses, working with abused animals. The Earth and her animals have been her greatest teachers.
She holds a Masters degree in Education, specializing in the development of curriculum- HOW people learn best. Her prime area is in working with at-risk and non-traditional learners. This understanding helps in working with clients and students. Clients and students create meaning and depth from their experiences that enable genuine and lasting change.
Yaguarcita is Spanish for "Little jaguar," the name given to her many years ago. In the medicine traditions, the jaguar, also called Otorongo, or Choca Chinqe (Rainbow Jaguar), is the direction of the West, the Direction of Rebirth and Renewal. Teri works closely with both the Jaguar and the Puma, or Catamount- the totem of the State of Vermont, where she lives. In this way, she bridges the energies of both North and South America. Her Condor and Horse energy are also very powerful. Additionally, she works with the Apus, powerful mountain spirits from the Peruvian Andes.
